HI, MY NAME IS LAURA ORTIZ

I help professional and expat women stop living on autopilot, stop proving, and start moving from a place that feels true, not performative.

MY MISSION

To help you live, lead, and choose from a place of inner alignment, not external pressure, so you can create a life that feels whole, not fragmented.

How did I get here…

For a long time, I did everything right. I had a corporate job. The salary. Check, check.

I was also collecting other boxes. Burnout? Check. Never satisfied? Check. Exhausted? Check. Feeling like it was never enough? Check. Needing to be perfect? Absolutely.

I could not tolerate failure, uncertainty, or not knowing. Trying something without being sure I would succeed? Too risky. So I tried to control everything. It was how I kept myself safe. Until it stopped working.

Leaving my job and moving to a new country brought it all to the surface. I rushed to fix things. It didn’t work.

I reached a point where I needed space, not more fixing. That is when somatic work came into my life.

I am still practicing a new way of being. I do not believe this is something you complete. Growth moves in circles, not straight lines. We revisit the same places, but each time with new eyes, new capacity.

That is the kind of path I am walking now. And it is the kind of space I want to offer to other women.

“Growth is not a straight line. It is a practice of returning, softening, choosing again.”

PROFFESIONAL JOURNEY AND CERTIFICATIONS

I bring over a decade of experience in leadership, talent development, and personal transformation. I spent years designing and leading programs for global companies, helping individuals and teams grow in complex environments.

Alongside this, I built a business around mindfulness and meditation, and trained in breathwork, mindfulness, somatic and trauma-informed approaches. My certifications include work with leaders in the field such as Richard Strozzi, Staci Haines, and Manuela Mischke-Reeds. I also hold degrees in Psychology and Organizational Psychology.

But what matters most is not a list of credentials. It is the path I continue to walk myself. I know what it means to live in survival mode, to push and achieve while feeling disconnected. My work is grounded in personal experience and professional training — to help you move differently, with more presence, choice, and trust in yourself.

MORE ABOUT ME…

1. I played clarinet for almost 10 years, in a band and orchestra. I deeply admire people who dedicate their lives to creating and sharing any form of art.

2. I love reading. The first book I ever received, at age eight, was The Little Orange Man, originally written in German. I still keep it with me.

2. I first saw Van Gogh’s Starry Night when I was 20. It is still one of my favorite paintings. Life is funny, I never thought I would end up living in his home country.
