Capacity-Based Burnout Stabilization Protocol for Women
A 3-month somatic coaching process for women to stabilize the nervous system, reduce everyday load, and rebuild basic functional and emotional capacity while reclaiming their body as a lived, female experience, not only a system to regulate.
*Available in English and Spanish!
Does this sound familiar?
1. “What frustrates me the most is that I know I’m capable. I’ve handled hard things before. So why does everything feel so difficult now? Why do simple decisions drain me?
2. “I hate that rest feels uncomfortable. When I stop, I don’t feel calm. I feel restless, guilty, on edge. Like I should be doing something. Like I’m wasting time. Like slowing down is dangerous. So I stay busy, even when I’m exhausted, because at least being busy gives me structure.”
3. “My body feels tense most of the time. Tight jaw. Tight shoulders. Sometimes pressure in my chest. I notice I clench without realizing it. Even when nothing urgent is happening.”
4. “I wake up already tired. Not just physically. Tired in a deeper way, like my system never really powers down. Even on days when I sleep, I don’t feel restored. My body feels heavy, but my mind starts racing the moment I open my eyes.”
5. “I swing between numbness and overwhelm. I get irritated easily. Small things make me want to cry. I feel resentment toward demands, toward expectations, toward people who seem to move through life with ease.”
If you answered yes to any of these, you are in the right place.
We work on restoring your inner capacity so decisions, change, and rest stop feeling so heavy.
What We’ll Do Together
Month 1: Stabilization
— Reduce internal overload and constant alertness so daily life feels more manageable.
— Map what is draining your capacity right now and what your system can realistically hold.
— Build basic nervous system safety so sessions and daily decisions stop feeling overwhelming.
Month 2: Regulation
— Learn to notice and interrupt stress patterns before they escalate or shut you down.
— Increase your tolerance for uncertainty, emotions, and pauses without collapsing or pushing.
— Restore clearer thinking, focus, and emotional range through body-based regulation.
Month 3: Reorientation
— Practice making decisions from steadiness instead of urgency, fear, or exhaustion.
— Test small, real-life changes and notice what your system can now sustain.
— Reconnect with your own signals and priorities to move forward with more confidence.
What’s Included?
Six 60-minute private sessions over 3 months (via Zoom).
Practical tools to regulate overload, decision fatigue, and emotional swings between sessions.
Gentle integration of changes into daily life, not pressure to overhaul everything at once.
Email support between sessions for brief check-ins or regulation guidance when needed.
What you’ll gain through this process
TRANSFORMATION 1: FROM OVERLOAD TO STABILITY
You gain a sense of internal steadiness that reduces constant alertness and fatigue. Daily demands stop feeling like emergencies. Your system has more ground, and life becomes easier to meet without bracing all the time.
TRANSFORMATION 2: FROM REACTIVITY TO REGULATION
You develop the ability to notice stress responses early and respond before they take over. Emotions feel more workable, pauses feel safer, and your thinking becomes clearer even when things are uncertain or uncomfortable.
TRANSFORMATION 3: FROM CONFUSION TO SELF-LED DIRECTION
You start making decisions from a calmer, more trustworthy place inside. Choices feel less charged, more aligned, and easier to sustain. You move forward without forcing, second-guessing, or abandoning yourself in the process.
HELLO
I’m Laura Ortiz
I am a somatic coach with a background in psychology and over a decade of experience in HR, leadership, talent development, and wellbeing.
I have lived what I now help others move through: burnout, performance pressure, perfectionism, disconnection from my body, and deeper desires.
Through somatic coaching, I help women stop following external pressure and start making decisions they can trust, not by doing more, but by learning to listen differently.
Together, we work with what is already present in your body, so you can reconnect with what matters to you, access your full range of feeling and choice, and move forward in ways that are truly aligned.
You will access new ways of choosing, moving, and feeling that were not available before.

Why Work With Me
REASON 1
I WORK WITH CAPACITY, NOT PRESSURE
I don’t push for breakthroughs or fast change. I work with what your nervous system can actually hold, so progress is sustainable instead of costly. This is about building enough internal capacity to support real life, not overriding your limits.
REASON 2
I UNDERSTAND HIGH-FUNCTIONING BURNOUT FROM THE INSIDE
I’ve gone through my own journey of burnout and deep personal change. Now I specialize in women who are capable, thoughtful, and used to holding a lot. The kind of burnout where you’re still functioning, but something essential is wearing down. I know how subtle this stage can be, and how easily it gets misunderstood.
REASON 3
THIS IS PRECISE, NOT GENERIC SUPPORT
Our work is tailored to your patterns, your stress responses, and your current life context. No one-size-fits-all tools. No motivational talk. Just careful, body-based work that helps you regain clarity, steadiness, and trust in your own signals.
Disclaimer! This process is not for:
Acute psychiatric crisis or active suicidality.
Untreated major depression, chronic anxiety, PTSD, severe dissociation, or substance dependence.
Active eating disorders or acute trauma processing needs.
Clients seeking deep trauma processing, catharsis, or relational therapy.
People unwilling or unable to apply practices between sessions.
We do not diagnose, treat trauma, or offer psychotherapy.
The outcome is not a life without stress, but a more stable baseline, a clearer sense of agency in your own body, and a concrete plan to prevent relapse over time.
When your situation requires more than coaching can offer, we discuss appropriate referrals as part of ethical practice.
