When you participate in a therapeutic process, as a psychologist I have the professional and ethical responsibility to maintain a confidential record of your process.

These records may include session notes, general clinical observations, and other information relevant to therapeutic support. They do not include audio or video recordings unless explicit written consent is provided.

Therapeutic records are stored securely and confidentially and are accessible only to me as the professional.

In accordance with professional best practices and applicable regulations in the Netherlands, these records are retained for a minimum period of 15 years from the date of the last session, unless the law requires a different retention period.

Your information will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except where there is a legal obligation or a serious risk to your safety or the safety of others.
